Tywin most likely camped at the Riverlands/reach border to pounce on whoever lost
That was not a battle it was tywin telling his men to slaughter people, rape women and kill babies!!!
Yeah and you people love Robert Baratheon who make this happen
@@JongenAgwhat did Robert had to do with this.
Tywin Lannister did it by himself.
And actually he saved the city from burning.
Mad king had plan to kill the whole kingslanding.
Robert did not order this Robert would not order this i doubt he could order this all he did was not punish twyin because it had t be done they needed to die inorder to secure his position Robert was innocent @@JongenAg

This was the reason why i can't like and respect tywin throughout the show, while others like and respect him, for me it's a "NO", hated all the Lannisters too. And people hated Dany for burning down kings landing but respect Tywin and that's double standard. At least Dany did those things because it's her best friend and loyal friend millasandei's last wish before she was killed in front of her and we all know Cercei's actions and plan to use the small folks as human shields, at least Dany has a reason while tywin did it because he just feels like it and he wanted to be the main man, not to forget that he falsely claimed to be an alliance, the Lannisters can't be trusted.
Tywin was in a similar situation like Dorne’s.
They were enraged by Rhaegar’s action by taking Lyanna and essentially leaving Elia behind along with their children.
Elia was essentially a hostage in King’s Landing and not permitted to leave to Dragonstone like the rest of the family.
Dorne was essentially forced to fight on behalf of the Targs because of this.
Jaime was essentially stolen from Turin by Aerys by taking him and making him a Kingsgaurd and his hostage.
Tywin stayed neutral because he didn’t want to go and bow to a king who stole his son from him. He waited to see which side would be leaning towards victory and move then.
That was essentially the only real way to ensure Jaime’s safety along with the Lannisters and the Westerlands.
If they joined the Rebels, Jaime would have been killed as retaliation.
If they joined the Targs, the Westerlands would have been ravaged just like the Riverlands had been.
The sack of King’s Landing was an act of vengeance against Aerys and the Targs for what they had done to him and his family.
Such horrors were commonly done in medieval time by all. Even by the so-called good guys.
The small folk are not seen as individuals but rather as property of the lords they are under.
Still horrific, but standard actions done by all at the time.
But what isn’t common is burning an entire major city and its inhabitants down to the ground.
Dany seems to take after her father is their obsession to burn down King’s Landing.
Unless if the goal of course isn’t to rule over the people but to completely ensure they are eliminated.
So basically Tywin pulled a red wedding twice ?
this was nothing like the red wedding except for the treachery
Tywin has a long streak of ruthless slaughter.
“My father had a saying too. Never wound a foe when you can kill him. Dead men don’t claim vengeance.”
“Their sons do,” said Hoster, apologetically.
“Not if you kill the sons as well. Ask the Casterlys about that if you doubt me. Ask Lord and Lady Tarbeck, or the Reynes of Castamere. Ask the Prince of Dragonstone.” For an instant, the deep red clouds that crowned the western hills reminded him of Rhaegar’s children, all wrapped up in crimson cloaks. - Jaime Lannister
Note that Jaime believes Elia's death was ordered, as Oberyn claims and as Tyrion thinks.
Wait until you hear about rains of castamere

Everyone after prince Rhaegar die :"okay guys...lets go...lets go..."
There literally was no reason to kill everyone in the city.
Yes, but it’s a sacking and a lot of bloodthirsty soldiers take the opportunity to do heinous things during an attack like that. The beast in them come out. Doubtful Tywin ordered every last man killed and women raped (besides Elia and her children) but when soldiers get the freedom to sack a town or city, such things occur. Horrors of war.
There was no army to fight other than the gold cloaks, who had probably fled at this point.
Tywin needed to show that he put in some sort of effort to show that he was on roberts side.
Ur right there isn’t a reason to kill everyone in the city, but soldiers take their spoils by raping women, looting, killing men etc. it was done in our timeline and in movies like Troy.
Damn, and folks call Dany mad
Facts...that's what I can't digest 😂 the double standard, they respect tywin and praise his methods while they hated Dany, at least Dany has a reason to do so because Cercei murdered her best friend and loyal friend in front of her, while on the other hand Tywin did it because he wants power and also he falsely claimed to be an alliance, can't trust the Lannisters, all of them. Even Jamie and Tyrion too, they can't keep their promises and we all know the outcome, Tyrion betrayed Dany which led to her downfall and Jamie betrayed Brienne and his oath and returned to Cercei which led to his death.
People call her mad because they fell for the shows dogshit "subvert expectations" ending.
Tywin with the tap in
1 yard screamer
So Jaime is responsible for these women’s death and other crimes his dady’s army do because he swore to protect the people the innocent. Ned is right Jamie has no honor. He want to be honorable but he isn’t trying hard enough.
I feel bad for those man and women that were rape and killed I know it all fiction but these are reason I could never get into Game of Thrones and I know what people are going to say stuff like this happened in real life I can still be deployed and disgusted by

The Mountain killed "A" baby by bashing "it's" head but Armory went full "overkill". 🤓😎✌🏻
Why? What the poor people do? 😂
Under the feudal system, the peasants basically didn’t count
They were nothing
They just existed
This question may sound weird, but I don't get it. Why did Jaime kill the Mad King for the sake of the people when his father ordered the slaughter of civilians anyway?
Sacking is worse than complete obliteration and Jamie was never in a position to stop Tywin. Only Aerys.
I remember a theory that Cersei gave the order to the Mountain and Lorch of the murder of Elia and her kids and Tywin covered it up as a mishap in war.
In the books Tywin has very clear dialog with Tyrion that he gave the order to kill the children but he didn't explicitly order Clegane to kill Elia (he may have wanted to spare her because she would be a worthless pawn politically)
@@Massika2 most likely, he thought he could trade her back to Dorne with the condition, they stand their army down and not strike up their banners against them for the death of the children.
When the awesome caption font doesn't come with numbers (or else objectively bad ones)
For clarity please...did Tywin go in two weeks after the last battle?

why create a video that cuts itself short..? is this channel a bot?
I think it's a clip from a longer video. I don't think the narrator is a bot, his enunciation sounds natural and his name pronunciation is too good.
